Kevin Jones to play on Pacers’ Summer League team

Free agent power forward Kevin Jones will be with the Pacers for Summer League play, his agent, Bill Neff, told VigilantSports.com.

The Pacers will compete in the Orlando Summer League, which runs from July 5-11.

After four years at West Virginia University, Jones (6-8, 260) went undrafted in 2012 and earned his way on to the Cleveland Cavaliers’ roster. He appeared in 32 games during the 2012-13 season, and averaged 3.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.

Jones, who has had numerous stints with the Canton Charge, was named to the 2014 D-League All-Star. He then finished the year with San Miguel Beermen over in the Philippines.
