Scott Agness is the founder and editor of VigilantSports.com. He has been covering the Pacers full-time since 2012.
He is a freelance play-by-play announcer, and currently the Voice of IUPUI Women’s Basketball. He also does freelance work for WHMB-TV, IHSAAtv, and WISH-TV. He was the on-air producer of “The Kent Sterling Show,” weekdays from 3-6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports 1430 in Indianapolis from Oct. 2015 through June 2018.
After graduating from Indiana University in 2012, he served as the Indiana Pacers reporter for Pacers.com. Prior to that, he worked for the Pacers as a ball boy for seven seasons and with the Indiana Fever for 10 seasons, capped off with the 2012 WNBA Championship team.
He has appeared on a variety of media outlets including the Pacers Radio Network, FOX Sports Indiana, SiriusXM NBA Radio, ESPN Radio, CBS Sports Radio, ESPN 1070 The Fan, FOX Sports 97.5, and dozens more — plus, he’s been a part of broadcasts on the IU Radio Network, Big Ten Network, 99.1 WIUX, and IUHoosiers.com.
