VigilantSports.com launched May 1, 2010 by Scott Agness. Since then, the blog has expanded into a multi-dimensional media platform.

Scott Agness is the founder and editor of VigilantSports.com. He is a freelance play-by-play announcer, and currently the Voice of IUPUI Women’s Basketball. He’s the on-air producer of “The Kent Sterling Show,” weekdays from 3-6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports 1430 in Indianapolis. He also does freelance work for WHMB-TV and WISH-TV.

After graduating from Indiana University in 2012, he served as the Indiana Pacers reporter for Pacers.com. Prior to that, he worked for the Pacers as a ball boy for seven seasons and with the Indiana Fever for 10 seasons, including the 2012 WNBA Championship team.

He has appeared on a variety of media outlets including the Pacers Radio Network, FOX Sports Indiana, SiriusXM NBA Radio, ESPN Radio, CBS Sports Radio, ESPN 1070 The Fan, FOX Sports 97.5, and more — plus he’s been a part of broadcasts on the IU Radio Network, Big Ten Network, 99.1 WIUX, and IUHoosiers.com.
