Lance Stephenson publishes third single — “Drip”

Lance Stephenson teamed up with Shon Dollar for a new song published on June 12, “Drip.”

What does it mean to be drip? From Urban Dictionary: “Just another word for immense swag.”

Sounds about right for Lance.

Stephenson, a product of Brooklyn, has dabbled in music over the last five years. His first single was almost four years ago after signing with the Charlotte Hornets in free agency.

Love Indiana, Imma miss ’em good days/Charlotte Hornet, MJ, that’s the new wave.

Then, before the 2017-18 season, he dropped “Better Believe It,” which was frequently played during pre-game warmups inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Teammate Victor Oladipo published an EP last fall and his R&B music went over with those in the industry. Those two have talked many times about coming together for a track this offseason.

“I know for sure during the summer we’re going to get a track going,” Stephenson said in November. “We’re going to get a track going for sure.”

Much like he did in 2012 and 2013, Stephenson is spending most of his summer in Indy and in the gym nearly every day. The Pacers have a team option on Stephenson’s contract for the 2018-19 season ($4.36 million), which must be exercised by June 29th.
