Pacers 2016 Pre-Draft Workouts: Max Landis, IPFW

Wednesday was a dream come true for local product Max Landis.

It got off to a normal start, sleeping in his own bed and then having breakfast. But then, he made the short drive to downtown Indianapolis for a big-time job interview.

The Summit League’s Player of the Year was invited to a pre-draft workout with the Pacers, his hometown team. It was his first workout and he hopes for more. Until then, he’s working out in town at St. Vincent Sports Performance.

Landis, a product of Perry Meridian High School, averaged 18.8 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game this past season, his second at IPFW. (Landis spent his first two years in college at Gardner-Webb.)

The 6-2, 185-pound sharpshooter is hopeful for a chance in the NBA.
