Pacers to appear in Ben Higgins’ hometown date on “The Bachelor”

So NBA All-Star Weekend 2016 is over, and the Indiana Pacers don’t play again until Friday night in Oklahoma City. If you’re looking for your Pacers’ fix until the end of the week, you can get one dose of it Monday night (Feb. 15) … on The Bachelor !?

Yes, the Pacers are included in the latest (recorded) episode of the very popular ABC reality show. Ben Higgins, who attended Indiana University and he shared a place with several basketball players, goes on a hometown date in Warsaw, Indiana.

During his one-on-one date with Lauren B., Ben takes her back to the Baker Youth Club of Warsaw, where he volunteered as a kid. It is there where Pacers coach Frank Vogel, Paul George, the hometown hero, George Hill, and Boomer, made an appearance.

The episode airs from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET.

According to tvbythenumbers.com, last week’s episode of The Bachelor was the most-viewed show during its 8:00 p.m. ET timeslot, seen by an estimated 8.62 million viewers.

[Also of note: Ex-Pacer Scot Pollard competing on upcoming season on Survivor – first episode to air Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS.]

This episode was filmed back in the Fall, so it’s pretty impressive that neither one of the G2 Zone leaders accidentally let it slip. George, who scored 41 points in Sunday’s NBA All-Star game in Toronto, is all about his brand and so this appearance in front of a strong national audience will only help.
