Purdue players craft their own trick shot video, sorta

For some, the summer is a time to get some rest and have time to yourself after an exhausting season and school year. For others, it’s a good time to have some fun and play around.

Sunday, two current Purdue basketball players, Dru Anthrop and D.J. Byrd, along with 2012 graduate Ryne Smith, made their own trick shot video, a phenomenon that has become popular on YouTube.

In their video, the shots aren’t so much tricky as they are shots connecting from long range. We’ve seen better. A lot better.

It is summer so their effort is at least worth something.

And will somebody please tell the camera operator to always record video horizontally on an iPhone.
