Reggie Miller, George Hill react to Wayne’s time being over in Indy

The Colts announced Friday morning that they will not re-sign 14-year veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne, saddening Colts fans everywhere.

It did not come at a surprise, as Wayne battled injuries and had a relatively unproductive season last year. And they have two young receivers taking over, plus they are looking to add another in free agency. But still, it’s a harsh reality.

On Twitter, “Reggie Wayne” and “#ThankYou87” were top trending topics worldwide.

Two Pacers, one former and one current starter, thanked Reggie for his contributions — on and off the field.
