I apologize for the lack of updates the last three days. For my birthday (Sunday), I decided a break was what the doctor ordered.
It has been awhile since my last vacation, and mind you, this three day trip could have been longer. Instead of going on spring break, I stayed in town to work the men’s Big Ten basketball tournament. Then it was the women’s final four followed by finals in school. Two days after I came home for the summer, I started my internship with WTHR-channel 13 (where I immediately began covering the month long Indianapolis 500), along with my part-time role with the Fever.
Easy to say, a break from my day to day responsibilities was needed.
I headed down south to Florida for three days of golf and relaxation…and that’s exactly what I got–I only wish I could be here longer.
Another year older, I begin to appreciate trips and vacation time a lot more. I realize if things go well, I’ll be holding my first full-time job this time next summer. Oh my!
