Victor Oladipo courtside for Pacers summer league game

Victor Oladipo, who was drafted second overall in 2013 by the Orlando Magic, was back in his old stomping grounds at Amway Arena on Tuesday.

Oladipo — outfitted in black Jordan gear — and was seated next to the Pacers’ bench, between the Pacers and Magic public relations directors — David Benner and Joel Glass, respectively.

The Pacers agreed to terms with the Oklahoma City Thunder late on June 30th to send Paul George to the Thunder in exchange for Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. The deal cannot become official until Friday, and after all players pass their physicals.

Oladipo spent his first three seasons in Orlando, and then was moved to Oklahoma City with Sabonis in a deal that sent Serge Ibaka to the Magic. In his only season with OKC, playing alongside NBA MVP Russell Westbrook, Oladipo averaged 15.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game.

Entering his fifth season in the league, Oladipo is beginning a four-year, $84 million contract that he signed last fall with Oklahoma City.

The Pacers were atop the Orlando Summer League standings entering Tuesday, but then they lost for the first time. Jarnell Stokes led the Pacers with 15 points and seven rebounds in their 94-79 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
