Hayward is now 26 and wrapping up his sixth season in the NBA.

From a raggedy, just-woke-up look to GQ-esque.

Gordon Hayward, the Brownsburg, Indiana and Butler product, is now into having stylish hair and putting product into it.

There’s your everyday transformation, and then there’s Gordon. Not just the hair but the definition of his muscles.

The change in hair was initially because of the urging of his wife, but it’s grown on him. And now Hayward, a husband and father — he has one young daughter with another on the way, — is owning it. And it only costs him $35 per cut at a local Utah barber. (I hope he’s a good tipper.)

Brittany Copeland of KSL Sports in Utah (and was previously a sports reporter at FOX 59 here in Indianapolis) created this feature package on the hairstyle transformation and how Jazz fans are buying in, too. Watch in the embedded media player below:

Hayward, in his sixth season, is averaging a team-best 19.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game with the Jazz, who are currently clinging to the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
