Pacers rookie forward Georges Niang danced to “Juju On That Beat.”

To end on a funny and entertaining note, the Pacers concluded up their annual FanJam event Sunday afternoon with the rookie show. That’s where rookies, plus any new member to the basketball staff must put on a show for the crowd. He can sing. He can dance. He can do both.

We’ll call it rookie initiation.

When asked about it afterwards, head coach Nate McMillan said, “(pause) … I haven’t had a laugh in a long time. That was great. They put the pressure on those young guys out there to perform. I did not know they had a couple of the outfits that was brought in. Entertaining. [It was] entertaining. I enjoyed that.”
