As his teammates and coaches were in the locker room for final preparations before hosting the Brooklyn Nets to Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Pacers star Paul George was out on the main court continuing his rehabilitation.
George worked with team assistant video coordinators Jhared Simpson and Mike DiBenedetto 30 minutes before the game while fans excitedly watched in the stands.
“He’s been practicing for several weeks now and there’s no timetable for his return,” Pacers coach Frank Vogel said prior to the game when asked if a return was possible this week for George.
At the first of April, George will be eight months removed from having surgery to repair a compound fracture in his right leg.
