As the Pacers-Lakers game was played like it was taking place on a playground — lots of run, quick shots, no plays — Pacers swingman Paul George and Nick Young had a nice back-and-forth sequence.
George drilled three shots from outside and scored 15 of his 39 points — his third consecutive game with at least 30 — in the third. Young, meanwhile, buried four treys and tallied 12 of the Lakers’ 30 points in the same period.
George and Young are both Cali guys. A couple summers ago, they teamed up to play in a Drew League game. They also spent time working out together, as you can see below:
