Roy Hibbert, the Pacers’ former center, will not play Monday night because of a sprained left ankle suffered Saturday in San Antonio.

The timing is strange and Hibbert acted and walked normally at morning shootaround. Until tonight, the Lakers’ lone visit of the season to Indiana, Hibbert was the only Laker to play in all 53 games. This will be his first absence of the year.
“Happy to be back,” Hibbert said Monday morning. “It was fun times but it’s time to move on.”
