GRIII, who was born in Gary, Indiana and signed a three-year deal with the Pacers last July, has impressed teammates with his hops — even going back to training camp. When I asked Lavoy Allen for his first impressions of Robinson III before training camp in late September, he said, “He dunks everything.”

A couple months ago, during one of the best Slam Dunk Contests of all-time between Minnesota’s Zach LaVine and Orlando’s Aaron Gordon, his teammate and close friend, Solomon Hill, suggested that he got involved next year.
The 2017 NBA All-Star game is scheduled to be in Charlotte and 2018 will be in Los Angeles. The Pacers are expected to bid for either the 2019 or 2010 NBA All-Star Game.
