Yogi Ferrell was waived by the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. The Park Tudor and Indiana University product was the final cut made by the team to trim its roster to the league maximum of 15 players.
Ferrell, an undrafted free agent, signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Nets on August 5, with a guarantee of $100,000, per league sources.

The point guard appeared in three preseason games and averaged 4.3 points and 1.7 assists per game.
It’s very possible that he remains with the Nets organization and plays for their Development League affiliate, the Long Island Nets. Former Butler guard Ronald Nored is the head coach.
Also of note, the Chicago Bulls waived former Indianapolis stand out D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera.
