Pacers President Larry Bird will address reporters at 11:00 am ET on Monday, May 1, for a 2016-17 season wrap-up.

This is the annual press conference where Bird shares his thoughts from the season, individual player growth, and the organization’s direction heading into the 2017 NBA Draft and then free agency.

It will be the first time that Bird has spoken with a group of reporters since before the season, out at the organization’s annual golf outing that benefitted the Pacers Foundation.

Head coach Nate McMillan, who guided the team to a 42-40 record in his first season taking over for Frank Vogel, will be up first, talking on Thursday at 11:00 am.

By now, most — if not all — player exit interviews have been completed and players are on their way for the summer.

Earlier this week, Bird served as a representative of Indiana and the Pacers when he rode an IndyCar five blocks in downtown Manhattan and then delivered the city’s 2021 NBA All-Star Weekend Bid.
