After going 42-40 during the 2016-17 season, the Pacers have picks 18 and 47 in the 2017 NBA Draft, set for Thursday (June 22) in Brooklyn.
When the 18th pick — and perhaps another selection or two, should they complete a trade by draft night for the second straight year — steps onto the stage at the Barclays Center, he’ll put on the team’s official draft hat before he gives a bro hug to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
It’s a New Era flat bill hat with the Pacers’ logo on the front as well as underneath the bill. In previous years, it was an adidas cap — as they have been the official apparel provider of the NBA. That ends at the end of this NBA fiscal year, June 30th. Nike will be taking over.
