University of Indianapolis product Jordan Loyd has opted to play overseas next season. After spending his rookie year in the NBA D-League, now rebranded to the G League, Loyd has signed with Hapoel Eliat BC in Eilat, Israel.
Last month, the 6-foot-4 guard joined the Pacers for rookie/free agent camp, and then down in Orlando for Summer League. Appearing in four games, he averaged 4.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game in just over 18 minutes a game.
A week later, Loyd received a larger workload in Las Vegas playing for the Toronto Raptors. There, he played almost 25 minutes per game — and averaged 11.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
