Back home in Texas, Pacers center Myles Turner was invited by the Texas Rangers to throw out the first pitch Wednesday night prior to their game against the Detroit Tigers.
Growing up in Bedford, Texas, which is about 10 miles north west of Arlington, Texas, Turner jumped at the chance.

The 21-year-old had good form throwing from the mound, but sent it right of the catcher.
“it was a wee bit outside but the effort on my catchers part was questionable lol,” he wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, during the game…
When Adrain Beltre hits a foul ball right to you and it's your shining moment…. then your coach pushes you out the way and Sheilds you 🙃🙃🙃

The Rangers handled the Tigers, 12-6, for third consecutive win. Even better, they have won six of their last seven games.
