Damien Wilkins’ special year just got even better. Back in the NBA — on the Pacers’ roster — after a four-year absence, Wilkins got engaged and now is expecting his first kid with his fiancé, Jasmine.
In between the first and second quarters of the Pacers’ game against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night, Jasmine surprised Damien with a gender reveal during the timeout in front of a sellout crowd at Bankers life Fieldhouse.
As made clear by his reaction in the video, Damien was unclear of exactly what was happening during the timeout.
Watch for yourself:

His reaction after the game was priceless.

Baby Zion is expected in May, according to Jasmine’s Instagram. And it’s fair to expect that he’ll be a basketball player — like his dad, and Damien’s dad (Gerald) and uncle (Dominique).
