Pacers without Oladipo and Collison against Wizards

The Pacers will be without two starters Monday when they host the Washington Wizards.

Victor Oladipo will not play due to illness, and Darren Collison is expected to be sidelined for the next two to three weeks. Collison is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Tuesday, the team announced.

His left knee has bothered him for much of the season, keeping him out of two previous games. The knee then swelled up pretty bad after Sunday’s game when he bumped it on the court, and an MRI taken Monday morning revealed the need for a knee scope.

Collison, who has started and played in 52 of 54 games this season, has been one of the more efficent point guards in the league. He’s so close to qualifying for the 50-40-90 club: shooting 49.5 percent from the field, 43.2 percent from long distance, and 89.7 percent at the foul line.

John Wall (left knee surgery) and Sheldon Mac (left Achilles surgery) are not available for the Wizards, who have won four in a row. The Pacers, winners of six straight home games, are 0-5 this season without Oladipo, their All-Star.

6-foot-8 forward Ben Moore, who is on a two-way contract, returned to Indianapolis and will be in uniform Monday night.
