Indiana hopes to end six game skid against Michigan

The Hoosiers are struggling to say the least. With six losses in a row, IU tries to get back in the win column Saturday at home versus the Wolverines.

Both teams are coming off losses. IU played one of their worst games of the season at Northwestern in a 93-81 losing effort while top-ranked Ohio State just edged Michigan 68-64.

My goals for upcoming television sports broadcasts

Tonight I have another Big Ten Network broadcast calling the Indiana women’s basketball matchup against Illinois.

Another game and another opportunity for me to do what I love. I strive to make each broadcast better than the last and giving the viewer the best possible production.

This experience is invaluable.

Here are a few things I am focused to improve upon this year.

“This is Indiana” music video conveys the spirit of old IU

Two Indiana University seniors, Brice Fox and Daniel Weber have a knack for creative music videos with humor. On September 4th, 2010, they debuted the “IU Anthem” which now has over 63,000 views on YouTube.

These three have a combined 86 seasons of broadcasting under their belt just with their current teams.

Playing teams like SIU-Edwardsville and Florida Gulf Coast was supposed to be a confidence builder for the young Hoosiers while teaching them how to win, something that they haven’t experienced much over the past …

Brent Pease leaves IU, returns to Boise State as offensive coordinator

Coach Kevin Wilson will have to turn to plan B in his search for an offensive coordinator at Indiana University.

Today Boise State officially announced that Brent Pease will return to the Broncos after joining the Hoosiers coaching staff less than two weeks ago.

Pease did not sign legally binding agreement, so there are no issues with breach of contract. This all was made possible …

By the skin of the feet, Jets sneak past the Colts

The game didn’t quite go as expected. A low scoring game that went down to the wire, allowed the team with the last possession to win. And that was the Jets.

Nick Folk connected from 32 yards out to send the Jets into the next round in New England.

It took nearly 10 minutes and four possessions before the Colts picked up their first 1st …
