Jeep kicked off its Summer of Jeep campaign at the first of June with Paul George heading it up. The face of the Pacers can be seen in two commercials and his story, part of a bigger story, has begun to be shared online.
The car brand is encouraging fans to share their own story on their website and on social media using the hashtag #MyJeepStory.
“It started off originally as a way to energize the brand and to create the story around the products around our brand as the official vehicle of the summer,” Kim Adams House, Head of Jeep brand advertising, told VigilantSports.com last month. “There’s no better season for the brand to celebrate the open-air freedom.”

Jeep is an exclusive automotive partner of USA Basketball and so they will have a presence at every event.
“Landing on Paul, I think was true to the spirit of our brand, true to the resiliency that I think he represents, and his reach,” said Adams House. “I think he is becoming more widely known based on not just his skill, but what he has faced in terms of adversity. I think celebrating our summer campaign and in speaking on behalf of our brand that represents this enabling spirit, this authentic and passionate approach to living life fully, we couldn’t have found a better complement to what our mission was throughout this campaign.”
A vignette series spotlighting George’s journey from the Select Team, through his injury in 2014, and now on the National Team has now been posted.
