For the second straight year, TNT allowed several different players across the league to show off their talents away from the basketball court in a talent showcase. For Indiana University product Victor Oladipo that means his voice (among many other things.)
He’s a terrific singer and even has an album out, produced last summer. If not working out or guzzling a gallon of water per day, he was in the studio recording songs or filming music videos. And the thing about Oladipo’s music and words, like Feathery, is that “They’re for everyone,” he reiterates.
You may remember the Talent Showcase last year because C.J. Miles showed off his skills on the piano. Oladipo’s competitors this year were Robin Lopez, Jameer Nelson, and Danilo Gallinari. None of that bunch are household names so Oladipo didn’t lose votes in a popularity contest, either.
