With Kent Sterling taking a much-deserved day off on Friday, I had the privilege of rolling solo on CBS Sports 1430AM in Indianapolis. While this time of the year is typically quiet, with very view leagues in season, there still was plenty to talk about.
Especially on the NBA front.
Earlier Friday, the Pacers acquired Cory Joseph in a trade with Toronto. I explained why C.J. Miles was not a part of the deal, and why he will still sign with them next week. I also hit on the Pacers waiving Georges Niang after just one season.
The show airs weekdays from 3:00-6:00 pm ET in Indianapolis.
I had a fun lineup of guests. Take a listen to those interviews in the separate media players below:
Doug Smith, Toronto Star:
Nick Friedell, ESPN.com
Jeff Zillgitt, USA Today Sports
Aaron Torres, FOX Sports Radio
Eddie White, Pacers Sports & Entertainment
