UPDATE: 12:43 pm on Wednesday:

The Pacers will be without Myles Turner for at least the next two games due to a right elbow injury sustained Monday night. “Turner is being evaluated and an update will be provided when available,” the team announced.

Turner will miss games against Eastern Conference playoff foes Miami and Cleveland. Then, the team heads out west for a five-game road …

Slick Leonard remains hospitalized after fall on ice over the weekend

Hall of Famer Slick Leonard is still in a local hospital with a leg injury after he took a “nasty tumble” on the ice over the weekend. The longtime analyst on the Pacers Radio Network has missed the last two game broadcasts and is expected to be out at least through the end of the week.

Running thoughts: Pacers 109, Bucks 96

Here are my running thoughts from the Pacers’ 109-96 win over the Milwaukee Bucks Monday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Bojan Bogdanovic returned after missing his first game of the season due to a sprained left ankle. The Pacers wore their (white) Hickory uniforms for the second time this season. They will wear them six more times, including twice more at home. … Love these…

Pacers Last Week: Jan. 8 — Oladipo received 251K fan votes, Bogdanovic sidelined, Slick hospitalized, Wilkins released

A lot happens each week with the Pacers and it’s not easy to stay on top of it. Introducing a new weekly feature, Pacers Last Week, which should help keep you up-to-date on all things Pacers.

I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Damien Wilkins proud of his time and impact with the Pacers

Damien Wilkins knew his fate by 2:00 pm on Saturday, five hours before the Pacers faced the Chicago Bulls at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

What he didn’t know was that he would start in his final game with the team.

Bojan Bogdanovic was a late scratch due to a sprained left ankle and head coach Nate McMillan wanted Lance Stephenson to resume playing with the second …

Anigbogu assigned to Fort Wayne Mad Ants

Ike Anigbogu once again was assigned to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Wednesday. They have two home games this weekend, Friday against the Windy City Bulls and Sunday against the Lakeland Magic.

Anigbogu has been used in just seven Pacers games, including a four-minute appearance Sunday in a home loss to Minnesota. He made 2 of 3 shots and 3 of 4 free throws …

Turner clears mind, refocuses alone in gym for hours after Sunday’s loss

Myles Turner responded to Sunday’s performance the way many basketball players would — by staying in the gym.

As the media entered the locker room, about 10 minutes following their 107-90 home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Turner had changed out of his game uniform. With a basketball under his arm, he made his way through the underground tunnel across Delaware Street to the team’s …

Ep. 72: Jason Lloyd

Jason Lloyd is one of three beat reporters covering the Cleveland Cavaliers each day. Wherever they are, he is there as well writing the story of the day or an in-depth feature.

The Cavaliers, of course, are home to LeBron James, the best athlete in the world — meaning whatever James says will make headlines and be heavily consumed across a variety of platforms. After …
