Metta World Peace delivered a cheap shot on Oklahoma City’s James Harden in the second quarter of Sunday’s game in Los Angeles. With just over 90 seconds remaining in the first half, World Peace celebrated a big basket and laid a dirty elbow into the left side of Harden’s head.

Jeff Foster, the Pacers scrappy center, has been fighting back problems for years. He’s had numerous operations, including one surgery this season.
From Southwest Texas State University, Foster was drafted 21st by the Golden State Warriors in the 1999 draft. The Pacers immediately traded for him and he has been a Pacer for life.

The Pacers have the fourth best winning-percentage (.610, 25-16) in the Eastern Conference, but like every team, they are always looking to get better.

Could we see Colts quarterback Peyton Manning before years end? At this point, it’s still not clear but we do know Manning is doing all he can.
On Monday, Indianapolis media personality Mark Patrick tweeted, “Don’t know that it means anything, but P. Manning’s helmet & pads are in his locker for Wednesday’s practice. Haven’t been the past months.”

The NBA released the revised schedule for the 2011-12 season, consisting of 66 games over five months. With a new coaching staff and probably a few free agents added to the team, the Indiana Pacers will open the season on December 26th at home against the Detroit Pistons.

In a rematch from the first round of the 2011 NBA playoffs, the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls will play a home-and-home for the only two preseason games of the upcoming shortened 2011-12 season.
