The Denver Broncos wished Paul George and the Pacers well ahead of their first-round playoff series against the Toronto Raptors.
About 20 hours before the series begins across the border, the Super Bowl 50 Champions sent out the following tweet to their over 1.71 million followers:
To one of our biggest fans: Best of luck in the #NBAPlayoffs, @Yg_Trece!

George better check his mailbag early Tuesday morning after their return from Toronto for this John Elway autograph football.
It reads:
To Paul,
Best of luck
– John Elway
ps. Go Pacers!
Seriously though, this was a nice touch by the Broncos, who had the the full sport of George throughout the NFL Playoffs. George, despite being a Palmdale, California native, is a Broncos fan because of his dad, Paul Sr.
PG’s dad played high school football against John Elway, who attended Granada Hills, about 41 miles southwest of Palmdale.
Elway, a two-time Super Bowl Champion (XXXII, XXXIII) has served as the Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager since 2011.
