Final thoughts before Kentucky and Indiana do battle, again

The day, the night has finally come. Ever since the bracket came out two weeks ago, this is a game both Kentucky and Indiana had circled on their calendar.

Indiana shocked the country on December 10th when Christian Watford buried a three-pointer as time expired, to lift IU past No. 1 Kentucky.

The guys took the floor at the Georgia Dome for what was an intense 50-minute practice.

Observations from Indiana’s open practice

ATLANTA, Ga. — Xavier, Indiana, Baylor, and Kentucky all practiced at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta for the first time Thursday in preparation of the two South Regional Sweet Sixteen games Friday evening.

Xavier and Baylor do battle at 7:15 p.m. with Kentucky and Indiana to follow around 9:45 p.m.
