In less than a week’s time, two more notable former Indiana basketball players will reunite for a basketball game.

Adam Ahlfeld is in his first season as head coach of the 8th grade boys basketball team at Eastwood Middle School, his alma mater. Ahlfeld graduated from Eastwood in 2000 and then went on to play at North Central High School (2000-04), and walk-on at Indiana University (2004-08).

Victor Oladipo is proudly from the DMV; Maryland, more specifically. But Indiana quickly became a second home for the 22-year-old.
Oladipo’s story has been well-documented, going from the 144th ranked high-school recruit, according to Rivals.com, to three years later being selected second overall in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic.

The Indiana Hoosiers alumni squad came back to beat Purdue, 116-113, Saturday night at ‘The Jungle’ on the campus of IUPUI. 14 former players made it back for the game, headlined by Indiana’s Jordan Hulls, Christian Watford and Rod Wilmont, and Purdue’s David Teague and Terone Johnson.
