BOSTON — The Pacers dropped Game 1 in Boston, 84-74. The third quarter, in which they missed 17 of 19 shots and scored only eight points, was their worst single quarter in franchise playoff history. They managed just 29 points in the second half – a total of 24 minutes. Not good.
