Hall of Famer Slick Leonard plans to get behind a microphone for the first time in 2018 on Sunday when the Pacers host the Miami Heat to Bankers Life Fieldhouse (5:00 pm).

Walter McCarty, currently assistant coach for the Boston Celtics, is returning to Indiana, his home state, to become the head coach of the University of Evansville men’s basketball team.
Evansville reached agreement with McCarty Thursday afternoon, the school announced. An introductory press conference set for Friday at 5:30 pm CT inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse.

The Pacers continue to be with Domantas Sabonis after the center had his left ankle rolled on by Philadelphia big man Joel Embiid on March 13th.
Sabonis did not travel with the team to Washington DC over the weekend but he will accompany them to New Orleans on Wednesday. The team, however, has already ruled him out for their make-up game against the Pelicans.
