Shortly before the final buzzer sounded and the Golden State Warriors punctuated their historic season with their first NBA Championship since 1975, Las Vegas already had odds out for the 2015-16 season.
Given, these are far too early odds because a lot can and will change during July’s free agency period.
The Cavaliers, who lost in the Finals series 4-2, are the early favorites (5/2) because they have LeBron James and are expected to add quality pieces after his first season back in Cleveland. It also helps that they play in the Eastern Conference. The best in the West, Golden State and Oklahoma City, share in the second-best odds at 6/1.
The Pacers (40/1) are tied with Washington and Memphis.
