ESPN drops another Pacers game from its schedule

The Pacers have won six in a row and are just two games behind third-place Washington in the Eastern Conference. They are currently on their longest win streak of the season.

That said, ESPN has opted to televise Houston and Golden State on Friday, March 31 instead of Indiana (28-22) at Toronto (31-21).

It will be televised locally on FOX Sports Indiana.

By already airing San Antonio at Oklahoma City earlier in the night, the lineup features three of the best four teams in the Western Conference. Despite the Pacers having another originally scheduled nationally televised game dropped, at least this one is understandable. The Rockets (37-17) are hot, and Golden State (43-8) is ratings gold.

All three meetings between the Pacers and Raptors are late in the season, occurring over Indiana’s final 14 games. They square off three times just once in Indianapolis, on Tuesday, April 4.
