It’s not every day that professional sports teams open their locker room, turn on the camera and get one of their top players to talk about an important period of their life.
I’m not just talking about a buzzer-beater or a field goal for the win. I’m talking about one of the toughest parts in an athletes life, battling an injury and rehabbing from surgery.
The Indiana Fever began a new video series on their website entitled, “Bri-TV,” after starting point guard Briann January suffered a torn ACL.
The team then allowed unprecedented coverage of January’s surgery and recover–taking the fans inside the doctor’s office before surgery, and looking at the x-ray’s after surgery. It’s a brilliant idea for a team always looking to be in the news. take a look, it’s very telling and interesting.
