Hamilton Southeastern guard Gary Harris is getting a lot of attention lately because of his football and basketball skills.
Saturday he will be recognized with one of the country’s top NFL general managers.
Harris joined WISH-TV’s Anthony Calhoun and Indianapolis Colts GM Bill Polian Tuesday evening for the weekly taping of the Bill Polian show that airs Saturday’s at 11:35 p.m. on WISH-TV.
Each week the show honors a top high-school athlete that excels on the court and represents his or her community.
Harris is a highly-touted star for the Royals who has multiple basketball and football offers. It is most likely that he will continue with basketball in college.
I had a chance to catch the junior in action ten days ago and while he did not dominate, he played very well finishing with 23 points, shooting 50% from the field and he kept his team in the game.
With almost a year and a half remaining in high school, Gary Harris has plenty of time to bulk up and improve in every facet of the game.
