Little 500 week continues to improve at Indiana University. Instead of going with hip-hop artists like two other concerts, GLOWfest is taking an alternative approach.
Pretty Lights headlines the second year of GLOWfest in what should be a loud and bright show. Chiddy Bang, Mansions On the Moon, George Watsky, The Main Squeece, and Bryce Fox and Daniel Weber fill out the lineup.
The concert will take place behind the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at Bell Tower Fields on Thursday, April 14th and will feature the most advanced lighting and sound setup for any Little 500 show to date. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the show will get underway at 6 p.m.
Presale tickets will sell in advanced for $30. Limited tickets (if available) will also be sold at the gate for $35, and a VIP ticket will cost you $70 (which includes GLOWfest T-shirt, Sunglasses, VIP viewing area right in front of the stage, VIP entrance with the ability to enter and exit show, and VIP restrooms).
This year, two dollars from every ticket will be donated to Zeta Tau Alpha’s Big Man On Campus initiative, raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer. Last year, a portion of ticket sales were donated a Haiti Relief Fund.
Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross are scheduled for Tuesday, April 12th at Assembly Hall presented by the IU Union Board. Tickets sold out in less than four hours in an exclusive presale to IU students.
GLOWfest will be on Thursday night, and Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller round out the musical lineup on Friday, April 15th. There is expected to be a joint, discounted ticket for Thursday & Friday night’s concerts.
Last year GLOWfest hosted Kelley James, Mike Posner and LMFAO. This really is the world’s greatest college week.
