Just in time for the craziness that is March Madness, I’m back where my online presence (outside social media) first got started.
A friend of mine started a site and used it as a platform to give his thoughts and provide his unique insights into what happened. I saw that and realized this was something I needed to get rolling with. Technically advanced as it is, I started a blog first named “N’ the Game,” after my old sports talk show in high school. From there, I’m took it even further — covering all Indiana athletics while a student at IU, the Big Ten Tournament, NCAA Tournament, Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400, Fever and high school sports, in addition to the world of media and broadcasting.
In August, I landed a gig with Pacers.com as their beat reporter. I do all kind of things in addition to game coverage, like blogs, live chats, videos and more. That occupies most of my time but I’m continuously engaged in the sports world.
There’s something very special about the the next month or so — conference tournaments, bracketology, the NCAA tournament, One Shining Moment and then, the Masters. Plus, the NBA, which is the best it’s been that I can remember since the 90s, will be going on the at the same time.
So many storylines, plenty of oddball items that’ll come up. Let’s get rolling…
