Indiana fans are thankful that their own, Cody Zeller, is returning for anther season. In many way too early polls, the Hoosiers are picked No. 1 because of what IU did last year, Cody returning and a fantastic incoming class.
Zeller had a special freshman year — he started every game, averaged 15.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, and helped lead his state school to the Sweet Sixteen. He was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week seven times and Freshman of the Year in the Big Ten.
According to Coach Crean, Zeller can now squat 400 pounds, bench 305, lift 185lbs 22 times and he has improved his vertical 2.5 inches.
