Just a few days after being cut by Indiana Pacers, Kevin Seraphin has signed a two-year deal to play with FCB Basket in Barcelona, the team announced on Friday. The deal is pending a physical.
Seraphin entered the NBA in 2010. He was taken 17th overall by the Chicago Bulls, though he never suited up in the red and white. He spent his first five seasons with Washington, the 2015-16 season in New York, and last year in Indy.
Seraphin, who will turn 28 in December, averaged 4.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. He played in 49 of 82 regular season games.

Before joining FCB Basket, Seraphin is playing in FIBA EuroBasket with the French National Team. And it was important for him to have a deal in place before that begins on August 31 so that he is covered. Without it (or insurance), it would be a risk playing and potentially suffering a career-ending injury. EuroBasket runs form Aug. 31 through Sept. 17.
