Kevin ‘Yogi’ Ferrell to be featured on the Bill Polian Show

Another top high school basketball talent in the state of Indiana will be in the spotlight this weekend.

Park Tudor junior Kevin ‘Yogi’ Ferrell will be highlighted on the Bill Polian Show.

The show usually airs on Saturday night. Because the Colts host the Jets Saturday night, the show will air Friday at 10:30 pm and again on Saturday at 5 pm on WNDY channel 23.

Last week Hamilton Southeastern’s Gary Harris was on the set with WISH-TV’s Anthony Calhoun and Indianapolis Colts GM Bill Polian.

Each week the show honors a top high-school athlete that excels on the court and represents his or her community.

Yogi Ferrell carried his Park Tudor team to the Class 2A state finals last year but lost to Wheeler at Conseco Fieldhouse. He committed to Tom Crean and the Indiana Hoosiers on November 24, 2010.

Ferrell is rated as the 17th best player in the class of 2012 according to Rivals.com and the second best point guard. He was also considering offers from Butler, Florida, Virginia and Wake Forest.

This year, he has the Panthers on a roll. They are 9-1 and a real contender once again for the Class 2A state championship.
