NBA TV sees what the Pacers are doing, just like the rest of the league.
The network has decided to air two of their upcoming home games, which means the game is in the homes of anyone nationally that has NBA TV. (Sorry, my League Pass friends.)
March 14: Boston at Indiana, 7:00 p.m. ET (over Sacramento at Washington)
March 23: Houston at Indiana, 7:00 p.m. ET (over Boston at Brooklyn)
A team that started the season 15-30 is now the hottest team in the league. The Pacers the Pacers (30-34) have worked their way up into seventh in the Eastern Conference standings, having now 13 of their last 15 games, including a league-best nine in a row. After the All-Star break in early February, they are 9-1.
Part of that is a result of favorable scheduling, both in home games and opponents played. But they’re also taking care of business now that health is no longer a troubling issue and their elite defense has seemingly returned.
