Point guard Jawun Evans would be an interesting choice for the Pacers in the 2017 NBA Draft. He’s a quick and dynamic scorer who is vocal out on the floor. He stands just 5-foot-11, though, and weighs 185 pounds.
Evans was part of the team’s seventh workout group that also included Oregon’s Dylan Ennis and Gonzaga’s Nigel Williams-Goss.
Evans opted to skip his final two years in college at Oklahoma State, where he averaged 19.2 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game during his sophomore campaign.
He even has history of playing in Indianapolis. His college career ended on the hardwood at Bankers Life Fieldhouse as OSU fell to Michigan by one point, 92-91.
The Pacers need help at point guard. Evans wants to be part of the solution.
