The Pacers will break out their Hickory alternative ‘NBA Pride’ uniforms for the first time this upcoming season on Friday, Nov. 6. Hosting the Miami Heat to Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the game will be televised nationally by ESPN — for the whole country to get its first look of the team in the uniforms.
It’ll be the Pacers’ sixth game of the season.
The team introduced their new alternative jersey in late July to overwhelming praise. (Full story from concept to the court.)
The Pacers are scheduled to wear this special uniform for ten games — six at home — during the 2015-16 regular season.
At each home game when they wear the Hickory uniforms, Pacers Sports & Entertainment will honor a specific person or team with a close connection to Indiana basketball.
