Devin Ellis is a dedicated Pacers fan and familiar to those who follow Pacers Twitter. And he promised that he had an official Pacers “MY CITY” license plate on the way.
On Monday, it arrived.
Oladipo instantly embraced returning to his second home, traded to the Pacers in June, 2017. And fans, like the organization, were quick to embrace him.
After big moments throughout the season, Oladipo pointed both index fingers at the floor and would say “This is my city.” It quickly became his signature celebration.
And so Ellis quickly requested the customized license plate.

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles began selling Pacers license plates on Jan. 1, 2017. $25 from each plate goes directly to the Pacers Foundation, which donated $372,500 to 58 Indiana organizations over the last year and more than $7 million in grants since its inception in 1993.
Sales over the first three months in 2018 have exceeded last year’s pace with more than 400 purchased or renewed.
One of the other great Pacers license plates remains BRNRDY for fan favorite Lance Stephenson.
