- Pacers owner Herb Simon turned 83 years old on Monday.
- Former Pacer Metta World Peace, formerly Ron Artest, was hired as a player development coach for the South Bay Lakers — the G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers.
- They shot 66.7 percent, a new franchise record, in a 130-107 win at Minnesota.
- ESPN.com’s Royce Young joined the podcast to discuss Paul George and the trade that brought Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis to Indy.
- Paul George had a dismal reunion game, impacted by foul trouble. He scored 10 points and fouled out in 19 minutes of play.
- Cory Joseph is an ambassador fighting to help childhood hunger on the weekends. $120 feeds one child for an entire school year.
- Former Pacer Damjan Rudež, waived by the Orlando Magic, is back in Europe playing for Valencia Basket Club in Spain.
- The players completed their annual Business of Basketball experience, a requirement under the Collective Bargaining Agreement. They designed t-shirts at Maingate.
- Glenn Robinson III resumed driving on his own on Friday, Oct. 27.
- Myles Turner dealt with concussion symptoms for most of the week. “He’s feeling better,” coach McMillan said on Sunday.
- Thad Young is now heading up the Sideline Soldiers program. It was previously handled by George Hill and C.J. Miles (last season).
- The Pacers celebrated George McGinnis’ Hall of Fame enshrinement at Sunday’s win over San Antonio, and was gifted a Range Rover.
- Victor Oladipo sank a game-winning shot over San Antonio, leading the team in each game this season.
- He then gave the game ball to Glenn Robinson III, who’s sidelined for several months due to injury. GRIII was courtside at Sunday’s game.
