Trust me, you’re going to like the Pacers video that will be played prior to introductions at every regular-season home game.
On Friday, at the end of the workday, dozens of Pacers employees, family, and friends gathered atop the Virginia Avenue garage, which sits just east of Bankers Life Fieldhouse across Delaware Street. There, court lines were lined, a basketball goal was upright, temporary bleachers were brought over, and DJ Bandcamp was on the roof blasting the tunes.
With a production crew also on hand, the Pacers recorded scenes for their new intro video. Typically, the shoot is done on media day, which is set for Monday.
Dean Heaviland oversees the look and feel to game night, which is competing more and more with your high-definition television at home. An outside production crew then produces the new video in time for their home opener on Oct. 29 against Memphis.
Last year’s video, embedded atop of this page, featured the 15 players in their Sunday’s best — a fashionable and professional look. (Click here to view the intro for the 2013-14 season.)
