The patch, which will first appear on the team’s jerseys Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics, will not only help to honor Daniels’ past contributions to the organization, but his love for the team.
Moreover, the team will wear a specially designed shooting shirt on Wednesday.
At halftime of Wednesday’s game, there will be a celebration of Mel’s life and playing career at halftime. Then, on Thursday at 1:00 p.m., a public memorial service will be held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
